אֲסִיפָה

אֲסִיפָהf. (b. h. אֲסֵפָה; אסף) 1) gathering, assembly. Y.Taan.I, 64c top אֲסִיפַת עם public meeting for fasting ceremonies. Gen. R. s. 98 ye shall be א׳ אחת one (unanimous) assembly. 2) = אָסִיף. Ḥag.18a חג הבא בזמן א׳ the festival that falls in the harvest season. Ib. א׳ ביו״ט מי שרי Ms. M. (ed. less correct מלאכה) is harvesting permitted ?, a. e. 3) (ref. to Num. 11:22) the mere taking into the house for consumption, without the ritual slaughtering (שחיטה). Ḥull.27b. Num.
